Mike – trombone
Mike Donohue is a 20+ year R&B, funk, and rock band veteran. Born in Phoenix, AZ, Mike moved to Houston in the 80′s and was soon playing with the best funk and R&B bands in town. Although James and Mike played together in a funk band (TKOh!) around town, he began playing with James, Omar, and Randy at Lakewood Church in 2008. A well rounded musician, along with trombone, Mike also plays piano, guitar, and bass.
Oasis Horns is James Williams, Omar Martinez, Randy Allison, and Mike Donohue. Though a relatively new group, they have been playing together for almost 5 years (and counting) as the horn section at Lakewood Church. Through Lakewood's television and live internet broadcasts, Oasis Horns is seen and heard by tens of millions of people every week.
